Our learning this week: We learned about the difference between "oi" (like in words like oil, boil, point) and "oy" (like in words like royal, toy, boy). We had a visit from our classroom leprechauns, Winty and Minty! We made traps and left them out overnight and noticed that they DESTROYED our traps and left clues! We wrote about what they did to our traps. In math, we continued learning about cycles. We learned about how cycles mean that time has passed and cycles follow the same pattern forever. These are cycles like the days of the week, the months of the year, the water cycle, and seasons. In health, we worked on our own healthy, balanced plates of food. We talked about how much of each we need in each meal and brainstormed some of our favourite foods. Thank you to everyone who signed up for a parent-teacher conference!
