Our learning this week: We learned about consonant + le words such as bubble, giggle, table. We learned to look for the "le", jump back one, and split in the middle! This helped us learn more about open and closed syllables! We finished our goose research project! This week we focused on their diet and habitat. Ask me about my project and what I learned! We continued our science centres and exploration about sunflowers. We learned about harmful substances and to ask a trusted adult before we touch things or eat things. We explored different environments in Alberta such as rivers, lakes, mountains, prairies, and wetlands. We compared what our gosling and ducklings needed (food, air, water, shelter) to what our sunflowers needed (soil, air, space, sunlight, water). We also drew and labeled a sunflower.
