Our learning this week: We caught up on our letter learning this week. We focused on the letters r, e, and l. We focused on the heart words 'see' and 'and'. We finished our learning about shapes and are moving into numbers next week. We did some fun Halloween themed math centres to begin practicing our numbers! We learned about the October moon and how it relates to Indigenous history and cultures.  We did some pumpkin art today around the story "Stumpkin". If you are wanting to support learning more at home, please take a look at these resources: Reading daily with your child - and having them read to you - is a great way to support their reading skills! You can even say, “I’m having trouble reading this word. Can you help me?”, and have them help you sound out the sounds.  There is a great app/website called “Teach Your Monster”.
