May 4-8, 2026
Our learning this week:
- We locked down our incubator because the geese will be hatching soon! Please follow this link to check in on them throughout the weekend - they could hatch early!!!
- We learned when to say a soft c sound like "s"
- We learned about Red Dress Day. This is an important day for Indigenous people to remember special women in their lives that have gone missing.
- We began wondering about sunflowers, learning about their lifecycle, and we started growing our own!
- We learned about how to take care of our mental health for Hats on for Mental Health Day.
- We had an amazing time learning about how to make a yogurt parfait with the Food Impact program! Sydney taught us about different foods that are good for our bodies, how to use plastic kid-friendly knifes safely, and how to try new foods!
- We went outside to observe nature closely with our magnifying glasses. We found so many lady bugs!
