November 3-7, 2025
Our learning this week:
- We focused on the letters ___ and their sounds. When you practice these sounds, and when you read them in words, at home, it's important to say their names properly. For example, with the letter t, we have to say the sound itself and try not to say "tuh".
- We learned the heart words: for, you, can, and of.
- We did learning about Remembrance Day and talked about writing letters to soldiers. We worked on poppy art with our buddies and drew pictures while we read a book called "What Does Peace Feels Like?"
- We began practicing our counting to 100 and skip counting by 2s to 20. We also learned how to represent numbers in different ways and practice how to represent numbers from 1-12. We will continue to learn about these numbers and higher numbers.
- We've started learning and researching about bears and geese. We are going to be learning about hibernation and migration with a focus on these animals!
