October 1-3, 2025

Our learning this week:

• We learned about the letters k and g. We learned how to properly form the letters and what sounds they make.
• We wrote about our weekends.
• We learned the heart words: is and to. These are heart words because the letters make different sounds than we are used to. 
• We learned how to use our new literacy centres and explored letters.
• We continued practicing our shapes and sorting using numbers.
• We started learning about communities.
• We started reading our class book: The Wild Robot.
• We had a wonderful community walk! We explored signs of fall using our senses and noticing how nature is changing.
• We visited and learned some new games to play with our buddies.
